Bitfufu Hits Record 34.1 Eh/S Hashrate as Bitcoin Production Surge in May

Most of that production came from clients of cloud-mining, which generated 357 BTC, while the remaining 43 BTCs came from Bitfufu’s self operations. The increase is mainly linked to the use of an entire month of additional machines that are deployed in late April. More hardware has been added by the end of May, which sets the stage for the potential obtained in June.

The hashrate under management has jumped 20.5% from April and now includes 4.2 eh/s of self-owned capacity and 29.9 eh/s that come from partners and customers. The average efficiency of the Armada stands at 19.1 joules per tehash, while the total power capacity reaches 651 megawatts, spreading to sites on five continents.

Bitfufu also continued the sale of Bitcoin in May after a four-month pause, offloading 178 BTC at an average price of $ 104,000. That move, timed around the entire Bitcoin time, helped the firm cover costs and strengthen its balance.

Singapore -based firm now holds 1,709 BTC, down from 1,908 BTC by the end of April. CEO Leo Lu said Bitfufu remains focused on long -term exposure to Bitcoin while maintaining a flexible ark management approach.
