Coinbase (coin) has filed a paperwork to list Solana (Sol), Hedera (HBAR) Futures

Coinbase Derivatives, a Crypto Exchange subsidiary, has filed documents with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to list Solana (Sol) and Hedera (HBAR) futures.

Exchange plans to launch the product on February 18., With new contracts that are cash-settled on a monthly basis, according to the filing.

The size of the contract for Solana Futures is 100 SOL, which currently costs about $ 24,000, if approved. It will also offer Solana’s “Nano” contracts with five sol. Hedera futures are in 5,000 tokens.

The move will come after several Crypto players have taken steps to launch new products following the inauguration of Crypto friendly Donald Trump. Just last week, Futures and Options CME accidentally posted the Futures page for XRP and Sol in their “staging subdomain.”

CME told CoinDesk that leakage was a mistake and no decision was made if it launched Sol or XRP futures.
