Ethereum Devs Unveil Kohaku Roadmap to boost the privacy of purse and security

Ethereum developers have opened Kohaku, a roadmap aimed at improving purse and security privacy through a modular framework designed for developers and advanced users.
The project, announced In a Thursday blog post by Ethereum Foundation Coordinator Nicolas Consigny, plans outlines to develop a set of privacy and security primitives for Ethereum ecosystems.
At its core, Kohaku aims to create a software development kit (SDK) for developing safe purse operating, and a reference reference that shows how these tools work. The first version will come as a browser extension based on the ambire wallet, designed for advanced users who want more control and privacy.
Kohaku has been developed in collaboration with well-known Ethereum ecosystem teams, including Ambire, Railgun, Defi Wonderland, Helios and unwanted labs. The The project is open resourceand developers are encouraged to contribute through GitHub repositors.

Kohaku aims to cultivate relying on purses in centralized services
Kohaku’s main goal is to reduce the hope of purses in centralized services that can monitor transactions. The project includes features such as private shipping and receiving, storing IP addresses, separate accounts for every DAPP and P2P transaction broadcasting That’s the bypasses normal remote call method (RPC) server.
It also plans to add social recovery options using tools such as ZK Email or Anon Aadhaar, which makes it easier to restore access without giving up privacy. ZK Email Uses Proofs that zero-knowledge To enable anonymous verification of emails, as Anon Aadhaar allows users to verify their identity in a way of maintaining privacy.
In the long run, the team aims to bring the security of the purse even closer to the device level, which they refer to as “as close as possible to silicon.” This means creating a native Ethereum browser where users can safely mix with DAPPs, IPFS content and decentralized networks without data leakage.

The Ethereum Foundation generates a “privacy cluster”
On Wednesday, the Ethereum Foundation Launched a new initiative called The Privacy Cluster.
The team will work next to the Privacy and Scaling Explorations (PSE) team to introduce tools such as private payments, confidential identification systems, and zero-knowing infrastructure designed to protect user data directly on Ethereum’s layer-1 blockchain.
The cluster of privacy includes multiple initiatives of the Ethereum Foundation and PSE, Kohaku is one. Other well -known projects are private reading and writing, private proof, private identity and more.
