Monad confirms the timing, but the details of the allocation of token remains mystery
Monad, the Layer-1 blockchain, confirmed in an X post that its long-awaited token airdrop will take place next week.
The Airdrop claims will be opened On October 14, however, Monad’s team has yet to reveal any information about the Airdrop allocation.
The Monad is positioned itself as a high-functioning layer-1 chain with EVM compatibility. The upcoming Airdrop marks a step toward launching its native token, but there are no concrete details on how to share the tokens, the community remains in a holding pattern, watching for the next update.
The news came as decentralized perpetuals exchange hyperliquid Listed Mon-USD Hyperps Earlier on Wednesday, entrepreneurs enabled to take a long or short position in the native token leading public distribution.
Based on the Hyperliquid Trading of Mon-USD Hyperps, which has been priced near $ 0.12, Monad’s fully diluted valuation (FDV) is close to $ 12 billion, with 100 billion mon tokens expected to be distributed by airdrop.
