Pantera-back, Web3 startup quiet after entity claims 60% of airdrop

Web3 Startup Apriori went silent after fresh allegations in the latest token airdrop, as Onchain analysts were unusually focused on distribution patterns.
About 60% of the recent apriori (APR) token airdrop is claimed by a single being across 14,000 interrelated Cryptocurrency Walletsaccording to blockchain analytics platform bubblemaps.
Wallets are freshly funded by crypto exchange binance with 0.001 BNB (BNB) each in a short time, bubblemaps said. All addresses then send their APR allocations to the new wallets.
The mysterious entity that claimed 60% of the airdrop allocations is still being funded by new wallets to claim more of these tokens, bubblemaps said in a November 11 x Post.

A priori launched Its airdrop claim was on October 23, shortly before the BNB chain-native token surpassed $300 million in market capitalization. About 12% of the APR token supply is allocated to the airdrop.
In August, Apriori raised $20 million To expand its trading infrastructure platform, with participation from Pantera Capital, Hashkey Capital and Primitive Ventures among others, bringing the total funding to $ 30 million.
The San Francisco-based company was founded in 2023 by former entrepreneurs and engineers with experience at Coinbase, Jump Trading and Citadel Securities.

Apriori went silent after allegations of insider activity
Apriori has not yet addressed the allegations related to the airdrop. Since the announcement of the October 23 Airdrop Claim, the official X Page has only published an unrelated one Post on Sunday.
“Still no response from the co-founder, the way they gave zero transparency makes them look no different from scammers,” write Onchain Sleuth Zachxbt in a Tuesday x post.
However, the high concentration of airdrop distribution is not necessarily due to insider activity, but may also be indicative of a sophisticated airdrop farmer.
