Famous Crypto Wallet Metamask opens new roadmap

The Metamask, the popular self-customial crypto wallet for the Ethhereum (ETH) network, shared a fuzzy announcement on Thursday, aimed at improving its purse user experience.

Part of Metamask’s Revamped Roadmap with the addition CONTRACTS SMART SMARTS In its current purse. Today, Metamask is an external account owner (EOA), a type of purse controlled by a public and a private key. One of the major falls with the EOAs is subject to human mistake, meaning if you have forgotten your private key, you have lost your crypto holders on that account forever. Other types of wallets that exist in Ethereum are contract (CAS) accounts, which are controlled by the code and with resignation mechanisms and security checks for verification of transactions.

In a blog post shared during the Ethdenver, the biggest conference in the North American Ethhereum, the Metamask team said “Smart-Contract-based accounts allow us to solve a number of problems: allowing new powerful uses of properties you hold, while simultaneously improving security. How the user expressed their agency in ways that their own code is implemented.

One of the new features aimed at making the user experience easier on Metamask with ERC-5792, which builds its current feature, Smart Transaction. Under ERC-5792, or known as batched transactions, users can combine several steps when it comes to signing off transactions, such as “approved + change” with a click, meaning they save time and gas fees by batching those steps.

Dan Finlay, the co-founder of Metamask, told CoinDesk that the batch transactions “Give us all the things you ask well, we will show them to the user in a good, unified. The user will pay for a gas fee for the series of events and then it will be just a block for the whole series of operations.”

Metamask card

The metamask team also shared Its metamask debit card Available in selected US states beginning in mid -March. The card is in making a few months and initially available only to users in the UK and EU.

It connects a user’s metamask wallet, allowing them to spend their crypto.

“You can earn staking rewards or bear fruit with your favorite protocols in your favorite tokens and have funds available to spend anywhere that welcome MasterCard with just one faucet,” the team wrote on a blogpost.

More support

As part of the theme of making the user experience easier, the Metamask team will add support for Bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (SOL) to its dompets, which means users can handle their various crypto assets somewhere.

“So they are at the same time delivering some of the most popular blockchains, but, but they also make sure we smoothed each part of our interface that gives new blockchains to be added seamlessly,” Finlay said in the interview.
