Fidelity allows investors to directly invest in BTC, ETH, LTC by new IRA plan

Fidelity Investments will roll over a Plan That was invested directly in Crypto on Wednesday, giving investors another procedure for taping this asset class.
The Bitcoin (BTC), Ethhereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) brokerage firm (LTC) offers to any US citizen at the age of 18. The owners are custodied by fidelity digital assets and held in a cold purse. The Crypto IRA product is free, and customers can invest in a Roth IRA, traditional IRA or Rollover IRA, according to the Fidelity website.
The new product is coming as financial counselors are increasingly offering crypto to their clients. A TMX Vetta FI survey recently showed that 57% of counselors planned to increase their allocations to Crypto ETFs, though their biggest focus was on ETF equity equity.
“Honesty is focused on offering investment products and solutions to meet the change of needs and interests of our customers, combined with education and support,” a spokesman told CoinDesk.
Brokerage firm clients have further expressed interest in a tax -aboard way to trade and hold crypto, someone familiar with the matter.
Fidelity offers a number of crypto-exchanged funds, to let investors monitor the prices of digital assets without investing them directly. The company has recently filed to list a Solana ETF at the CBOE Exchange.
Update (April 2, 16:15 UTC): Correct the first paragraph to say that the plan was introduced on Wednesday, not Thursday, and it is clear that the owners are cared for by Fidelity Digital Assets.
