Sam Altman’s World Crypto Project

Sam Altman’s controversial blockchain project, World, launches the US-and said it intends to launch 7,500 “orbs” in cities across the country by the end of the year.

World’s Orbs-Chrome, bowling ball-shaped devices that scan someone’s eyeballs to confirm their identity-the first one is available to Americans in six “key innovation hubs,” the company said: Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville and San Francisco. Those who have decided to take a stab and look at Orb get access to the app’s world and receive an airdrop of the world’s Wld’s token. By the end of the year, the project aims to have enough orbs spread throughout the US to provide 180 million Americans, more than half of the population, accessing the world network.

Altman and other executives at the World’s Parent Company Tools for Humanity announced the expansion of the US at a press conference in San Francisco on Wednesday night, with a dizzy killing of new features and partnerships for the project.

The World App will now offer its users access to crypto-supported loans by non-custodial lending protocol Morpho and prophecy markets by Malashi. Later this year, WLD holders can spend their tokens such as cash with a new card linked to Visa Debit Card. The project also includes identity-verification technology in some online dating apps. Starting with Tinder users in Japan, the online Giant Match Group dating will be dating using the World ID to verify the age of its users.

Altman said the idea for the world that was earlier Openai, his generative artificial intelligence (AI) company.

“We need some kind of method for validating people with the age of (artificial general intelligence),” Altman said at the meeting. “We need a way for us to know what content people have made, (and what is done) of AI. We want a way to make sure people have remained special and central to a world where the Internet will have a lot of AI -driven content.”

Altman’s initial ideas about how to solve the human verification problem are “very crazy,” he said-the world and the eyes of the eye, just a little.

The world is the latest crypto project to announce an expansion of the US. Since President Donald Trump was in charge of January, environmental regulation became more lovers of crypto projects.

The company has announced that it will build a factory in Richardson, Texas – a suburb of Dallas – to help produce the orbs needed for the upcoming US expansion. After the initial controlout, other major cities including Seattle, Orlando, San Diego and Las Vegas will receive a second wave of orbs.

“They’ll be wherever they are,” said Alex Blania, tools for the co-founder of mankind. “They are at gas stations, comfort stores, and you will be able to prove in 10 minutes wherever you are.”
