Anti-L2 Push can ‘break society’s cloth’ of Ethereum-Sandeep Nailwal

Part of the Ethereum community forces the Ethereum Foundation to make decisions that can “break the whole fabric of society” of the smart contract network by restricting the Layer-2-2 (L2) networks of Ethereum, polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal said.

Speaking on a March 28 phase of Cointelegraph’s Chain reaction Show on X, Polygon founder said he only saw this type of anti-L2 pressure and rhetoric during the current market cycle in the middle prevented price action for ether (Eth).

“Everyone understands that if the Ethereum cannot survive, layers-2 will not live,” Nailwal said, and added:

“The Ethereum community should not force enough developers – I should not force enough developers – for price movements and all of that, they can end making a decision that will completely break the fabric of Ethereum society.”

Polygon’s co-founder praised Vitalik Blerin and His More active role in the Ethereum Foundationsaying that he has been the biggest force in keeping the Ethereum ecosive ecosives.

Nailwal describes Baterin as the “DNA” of the network that attracts many talented developers in recent years to build layers at the top of the Ethereum base layer.

Layers of Reflection Compared to Layers of Implementation

According to Nailwal, Layer-1 vs Layer-2 Dichotomy is the wrong way to think about blockchain networks.

The founder of the polygon has only defined the two layers of reimbursement in all crypto, bitcoin and Ethereum, along with all other crypto networks of implementation layers.

In the future, mostly The application will have its own blockchain To avoid paying gas fees and posting final transactions to one of these layers of recession, Nailwal said.

The base layer of the Ethereum will benefit from the explosion of the implementation layers, which gains value from these final arrangements and promotes long-term ecosystem growth, which one day is seamlessly interrelated.

Critics of Ethereum implementation layers say that scaling networks are currently cannibalizing the base layer, which ends with a 99% dropped with Ethereum L1 income By September 2024.

Nailwal concluded that due to the differences between the layers of regulating and implementation, no other crypto network was the true competition for Ethereum other than the Bitcoin network.

However, the only way the Bitcoin network could be a threat to Ethereum is if it has adopted more advanced script options that give it a reliable, intelligent contract operation such as Ethereum, Nailwal said.
