Bitlayer’s YBTC token enters Solana’s ecosystem as Defi Project partners with Kamino Finance and Orca

Bitlayer, a bitcoin
The Defi Infrastructure Project, cooperated with Kamino Finance and Orca to bring token supported by Bitcoin, YBTC, in Solana’s ecosystem.
This integration was intended to combine Bitlayer’s security with Solana’s speed and scalability, which aligned with the Bitlayer’s goal of expanding the Bitcoin Defi sector. It will provide Bitcoin holders of folk exposure to BTC and harvest opportunities, says Charlie Hu, Bitlayer co-founder.
“By integrating -Includes Bitlayer’s security roots with Solana performance through YBTC, we convey what BTC holders are asking for: the exposure of native Bitcoin with harvest opportunities. Kamino and Orca provide essential liquidity railroads to make the vision of the scale,” Hu said.
The YBTC, which is PEG 1: 1 along with the BTC, is centered on the Bitvm Bridge of Bitlayer, designed for shifts of trust minimized Bitcoin by removing centralized mediators. The token serves as a direct representation of the locked BTC of users within the Bitlayer ecosystem, which enables seamless interoperability between Bitcoin and decentralized financial applications.
By handling the YBTC, Solana users can maximize yields through institutional grade revenue of Kamino, which provides automatic and optimized BTC-denominated return, which helps assets grow effortlessly.
They also enjoy the seamless trade with Orca’s Concentrated Liquidity manufacturer (CLM)That offers zero-slippage swaps between YBTC.B and other major properties, which provides proper access to Solana’s defi ecosystem.
Last but not least, users maintain complete freedom of property, capable of redeeming the native BTC at any time by efficient, without friction cross-chain operations.
The Bitlayer’s Bitvm Bridge has established cooperation with other networks, including SUI, Base, and Cardano, to advance the cooperation of the ecosystem. To promote early adoption, a limited time incentive program for mainnet beta is now underway, rewarding participants with the native token of Bitlayer, BTR, for the Minting YBTC and the use of its cross-chain features.
Kamino Finance is a Solana-based protocol, which offers automatic and optimized concentrated liquidity management for Dex market makers. Orca is a decentralized exchange built on Solana Network.
