Blockchain Association CEO will move to Solana Advocacy Group

Kristin Smith, CEO of the US-based Blockchain Association, will leave the Cryptocurrency Advocacy Group for the recently launched Solana Policy Institute.

In a notice on April 1, the Blockchain Association (BA) Says Smith will decrease from his role as CEO on May 16. According to the organization, the close CEO will be president of the Solana Policy Institute on May 19.

The notice of the organization did not provide a apparent reason for the transfer to Solana’s advocacy organization or tell who would lead the group after Smith’s departure. Cointelegraph reached the Blockchain Association for the comment but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
