Blockchain BTQ startup suggests more energy efficient alternative to crypto proof work



A recent -only published journal article of researchers at btq, a Startup working to generate blockchain technology That can withstand attacks from computers volume, suggested an alternative to the proof of work (POW) algorithm involving volume technology.

Proof of work is a mechanism of agreed blockchain that ensures the Bitcoin network. Participants were crunch by a wide amount of math problems to prove transactions. Some criticize the process as extra strength, while Others have argued opposite.

The quantity of computing involves the transition from a process that relies on binary code, and zero, which are open and near transistor doors. The quantity of pieces (quubits) exist in many states at once, extensive computational power to the point where modern-day encryption developed by classical computers-relying on transistors and binary code-is a threat.

In its role, BTQ researchers suggest an alternative based on the quantity called coarse-grained Boson sampling (CGB). This method uses light particles (boson) to produce unique patterns – bells – that reflect the current state of the blockchain instead of hash-based math puzzle.

The random sampling of these patterns will create a cultivation, in the same way that random numbers form the spine of the Classical computers made of classical computers.

Boson-sampling is first created to show something called the supremacy of volume, a test that determines whether an equation of mathematics is too complicated for a classical computer.

These examples are combined with categories, called bins, making it easier to verify the results and confirm the miner’s work.

This method replaces traditional Pow cryptographic puzzles with volume -volume activities, which significantly reduces energy consumption while ensuring that the network remains safe and decentralized.

While the BTQ proposal is interesting to the theoretical, achieving it will require a tough bitcoin network fork with miners and nodes replacing their existing ASIC-based hardware (computers made only for in the consensus mechanism) with infrastructure ready.

It will certainly be an effort of Herculean and may result in a fork as seen in the blockized war of recent years.
