UN Agency Academy will teach the blockchain to governments


The United Nations Development Program is set to launch a “government blockchain academy” to teach the public sector about crypto and other emerging tech.

The agency Says This Monday will cooperate with the blockchain and artificial intelligence advocacy of non-para-profit exponential science foundation to launch the Academy next year.

“The academy will provide specialized education and implementation programs to use blockchain, AI, and other emerging technologies to help governments drive a change of change,” the UNDP said.

Some of its interests are the use of tech to create “trusted, proven digital credentials that improve access to services” along with better access to financial services and digital payments.
