Ripple M & A Target Hidden Way to Open a New Office in Abu Dhabi led by James Stickland

The company has received an in-principle approval (IPA) from ADGM’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), Hidden Road said in a press release shared with CoinDesk on Thursday.
A member of the Abu Dhabi family may potentially join the company’s local creature board when it receives the final approved regulation, one of the people said.
When Hidden Road receives this final approval, it is authorized to offer a clearing and chief service of broker to institutional investors in the UAE, the company said.

Stickland is the former CEO of Elwood Technologies and Elwood Asset Management, the crypto firm supported by billions of hedge funds Alan Howard. He joined Hidden Road more than a year ago, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Hidden Road said last month that it received Finra’s approval to operate as a US broker-dealer, which enhances the fixed prime brokerage platform.
