Former Binance CEO Changpeng “CZ” Zhao has rejected many of the claims in the Wall Street Journal report suggesting that he is actively seeking federal forgiveness from US President Donald Trump.
In a post of March 13 x following the release of the report, Zhao Says He has no discussions about a business deal between the Trump and Binance.us family. He added the claims that he wanted a presidential forgiveness from Trump, who could allow him to think of a role in operating or managing Binance.
“No one will think of a forgiveness, especially the only US history who has ever been punished in prison for a single BSA (Bank Secrecy Act),” CZ said. “The feeling that the article has been motivated as an attack on the President and Crypto, and the remaining ‘War on Crypto’ forces from the last administration are still at work.”
