Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao wants to provide free education for a billion children worldwide along with his giggle academy venture, he told an audience at Token2049 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“In a few years, I think, I want to teach 100 million or 1 billion children for free,” Zhao told the audience. Giggle is a free online platform that provides elementary school through gamiified lessons.
“With the technologies we have today, it is not difficult to make an app that stays, education, but also the children on the device,” said the Crypto businessman.
Giggle’s concept Paper The project’s purpose is to provide K-12 education worldwide for free by offering educational courses that are not traditional on topics such as negotiations, finances, entrepreneurship, sales, legal, accounting, blockchain, and AI in phases.
In April 2024, Binance’s co-founder announced that he had left the company and focused on education initiatives as he was preparing to serve a four-month confinement completed in September 2024.

The growing role of developing AI in education
Zhao also discussed the heavy use of Generative AI in the manufacture of course materials for the Giggle Academy, a growing online and traditional education.
