Decentralized AI favored by most Americans: DCG poll

Nearly three-quarters of the surveyed Americans believe that decentralized artificial intelligence is more likely to support change and development in a centralized counterpart, according to a Harris poll assigned by the Crypto Venture Firm Digital Currency Group (DCG).
Results of Poll Of the 2,036 Americans aged 18 and older released on May 29, it was found that 56% favored the decentralized AI, and 77% saw the decentralized AI “as a greater benefit to society in general.”
“The three-quarters of Americans agree that the transformation of AI power will benefit many people if it is not combined with some major players,” said DCG vice president Julie Stitzel.
Noteworthy, 67% of respondents said that centralized AI is likely to be biased, and 63% said they think centralized AI is more likely to benefit from big tech companies than average people and are more likely to abuse user data.
Decentralized AI gets traction
