ZKSYNC Hacker returns $ 5M to stolen tokens after receiving 10% Bounty

Zkync said $ 5 million worth of tokens stolen in a Admin Wallet Hack Last week was restored and the case was considered to be resolved now.
Layer-2 blockchain protocol saw a hacker compromising its admin wallet, leading to theft of unspecified tokens from ZKSYNC AIRDROP.
In an X post, the project said the hacker Cooperating with the team and returned the funds within the “Safe Harbor” deadline – a period of grace that was usually offered in security incidents to inspect returns without legal consequences. Cooperation means the hacker will take 10% kindness.
The tokens are now in the custody of the Zksync Security Council and a management process will determine what to do with them. A final investigation report is prepared and published when complete.
