Kite raised $ 18m to bridge Stablecoin and Autonomous Agent payments

Artificial intelligence (Ai) The Kite Kite raised $ 18 million to expand its platform for the enabling of autonomous agents to transact the stablecoins.

The cycle, led by General Catalyst and Paypal Ventures, brings a combined startup fund based in San Francisco to $ 33 million, according to an email announcement on Tuesday.

Formerly known as zettablock, the kite builds an infrastructure for its so -called “agent agent,” where Ai agents Conduct a microtransaction and organize services. The company plans to use the money from Series A Round to provide agents with tools to interact with mechanical speed.

By integrating with Shopify and Paypal, any merchant can choose to be discovered by AI shopping agents. Purchases have been fixed on-chain using stablecoins to remove high transaction fees that may bear traditional payment.

Stablecoins can develop a critical component of unlocking new economic models with AI, by allowing split-second settlements and low fees, thus enabling agent-to-agent billing and microsubscription.

Kite said it plans to expand integration throughout commerce, finances and data platforms, while positioning itself as a default stablecoin payment layer for autonomous agents.
