Fusaka upgrading is live on Sepolia Testnet

Ethereum developers launched the second trial of the upcoming FUSAKA upgrade early on Tuesday morning on the Sepolia network, marked another step toward the main upgrade debut.

The test follows A successful -chalout in holesky testnet Two weeks ago. Developer plans one Final Training on Hoodi Network On October 28, they will set a date to activate FUSAKA in Ethereum’s main blockchain.

Just a few months after Ethereum’s Pectra’s main upgrade, FUSAKA is designed to lower costs for institutions using the network. One of its key features, Peerdas, gives validators to verify only data components rather than the whole “blobs.” This improvement reduces bandwidth demands and helps cut costs for both layer-2 networks and validators.

Testnets like Sepolia play an important role in Ethereum development, giving developers a reliable environment to test upgrades under world conditions before they survive in the main network.

The holesky, however, began to show signs of accumulation and are expected to be avoided as soon as possible. Its alternative, Hoodi, was launched earlier this year, is designed to closer glass the mainnet of Ethereum. The upcoming hoodi test is expected to be the most indicator of how Fusaka will perform once it lives.
