Ben-Sasson sets a convincing framework for how Bitcoin-not by abandoning its principles, but by expanding its scope. He describes three basic columns that need to be aligned in order to fulfill its promise.
Laws, integrity and verification, according to Sasson Ben, are tangible technical targets for the adoption of bitcoin currencies on a large scale. Not only that, but the tools needed to strike these goals are already.

This means rethinking what bitcoin is and upgrading how it works.
“If we do not make Bitcoin more useful, we risk making it unrelated.”

“We are not in a position in which Bitcoin is a system that can be allowed today to any parties to deal without any reliable mediator. We are simply not there. For me, this is the beginning, medium and the end of the reason that makes things need to be changed.”
