Blockchain firm Crossmint used by Adidas, Red Bull raises $ 23.6m in funding

Crossmint, a blockchain infrastructure firm that helps companies develop on-chain applications, raised $ 23.6 million in funding.
The company, which has over 40,000 users, aims to simplify blockchain adoption by enabling companies that combine purses, tokenization, and payments with minimal code, according to a statement on Tuesday. Crossmint users, including large brands Adidas and Red Bull, use the platform to move their Operation On-chain.
Crossmint also builds a framework for artificial commerce -driven intelligence, providing purses and payment APIs for AI agents.
“AI agents are reshaping commerce. Soon, they autonomously manage activities such as grocery shopping or personal style,” said Alfonso Gomez-Jordana, Crossmint’s co-founder. “Traditional payment systems are not designed for AI agents – but the blockchain is.”
Ribbit Capital led the investment cycle with further participation from Franklin Templeton, NYCA, First Round, and LightSpeed Faction, Crossmint announced on Tuesday.
