Two department of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department admitted to use their law enforcement powers to help their private security clients, including the confined crypto extorter called “The Godfather.”

Rodriguez used search warrants to find victim
Prosecutors said Iza had hired Rodriguez, but the former police officer admitted to a plea agreement to lie to a judge to get a search warrant in July 2022 for a client other than Iza, who hired him as private security.
He admitted that the warrant was associated with a robbery investigation when in fact obtain the location of a victim’s phone’s GPS for his client.
Rodriguez shared the location with Eric Chase Saavedra, a Lasd representative who was also hired by Iza, who sought a crime in February in conspiracy against the rights and filing of taxable taxes.
“Lasd and other co-conspirators representatives will use information obtained from the authorized search warrant to be allowed, threatened, and threatening the victim,” the Department of Justice said.
Rodriguez has scheduled his sentence for November 10 and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
