Lubian wallet moves more than $ 1B to BTC after 3 years of inactive: on-chain data

A purse associated with Lubian, a significant Bitcoin mining pool in December 2020, moved BTC on Wednesday, ending three years of dormancy.
The purse labeled “39Duz” moved 9,757 BTC, worth $ 1.1 billion, to two new addresses, “34kn9z … S9TEF” and “BC1Q4C … 77S0,” respectively, according to analytics companies Peckshield and Lookonchain.
It remains unclear whether recent moves in new addresses represent attempts to liquid the coins or simply attempts to move them to fresh wallets for security or operational factors.
The movement of the coins follows Report that the US government is looking for a robbery robbery of 127,271 BTC ($ 14.4B).
The US Department of Justice (DOJ) on Tuesday announced the seizure of Bitcoin worth $ 15 billion from the operation of the Prince Group of forced scam compounds across Cambodia. According to the elliptic forensics firm, these bitcoins were “stolen” in 2020 from Lubian.
