Lyft’s Bee maps are for real-time, crowdsourced mapping upgrade upgrade

Bee maps, a hivemapper project, one of the largest decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DEFIN) Focused on Solana mapping data, shared on Wednesday that it cooperated on riding the giant Lyft to give them more accurate mapping data.
The move emphasizes the growing role of many people who are geospatial intelligence in the transportation industry, and the signals to ride in sharing companies are heading to this type of infrastructure for better maps.
Bee maps allow drivers to contribute to data map using AI-prosperous dash cams that automatically detect and update real-time changes to roads-like construction zones or modified road signs-which help digital maps currently and accurately.
“For mobility to actually work and for autonomy to be reality, maps may not be a thought-they need to be an audience, live, accurate, and open,” said Ariel Seidman, CEO and Co-Founder of Bee Maps, in a press release with CoinDesk. “We are proud of that arm a real performer like Lyft with a constantly updated level of spatial intelligence that allows their vision.”
Bee maps are part of the growing depin (decentralized physical infrastructure networks), which use blockchain incentives to develop real-world infrastructure development. In the case of Bee Maps’, contributors will earn crypto rewards for collecting street level imagination using hivemapper cameras. This data is processed with AI to pick up important features – such as road signs, line marks, and construction zones – which are constantly updated on the platform.
The move between lyft and bee maps It cooperated with Grab of Taxi ServiceTo offer better mapping technologies.
