Pumpswap carries cash while Trump tariffs weigh in BTC price

By James Van Straten (all the time and unless otherwise indicated)

With the increase in trade tensions, Asian and Europe’s stocks were expanded by the decline last week. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 4%, brought to the correction territory after falling more than 10% from a high and European index record including FTSE 100, DAX, and CAC 40 opened in red next to the collapse of US stock futures.

The backdrop is President Donald Trump’s new tariffs, which is set to be revealed to the world on April 2 at an event he called the “Day of Liberation.” President plans to impose levies and tariffs on any country that is considered to have an unfair trade relations in the US

“You start all countries, so let’s see what happens,” Trump said, according to Financial periods. His words suggest that while tariffs may first apply widely, he is open to making concessions for some countries, FT said.

On Friday, US equality dropped after a warmer-than-expected reading of the Core PCE Inflation, the preferred gauge of Federal Reserve inflation. Market uncertainty may continue to report jobs in the US since Friday. Economists announced the unemployment rate rose to 4.2%, while non -slender payrolls were expected to be at 128,000, down from 151,000 last month.

Gold rallied behind this uncertainty, which dropped the past $ 3,100 per ounce for the first time-to 1.2% in the day and nearly 20% years-to-date. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) continues to struggle, which has been able to do just $ 80,000. It dropped more than 3% this month and 12% for the quarter, which has marked its worst performance since the fourth Quarter 2022.

Then consider the ether (eth). The second largest cryptocurrency has performed worse than Bitcoin this quarter, which has lost 46% to a slide worst since 2018. As a result, the ether-to-bitcoin ratio has dropped to 0.02195, marked the lowest level since May 2020. At that time, Bitcoin traded below $ 10,000, while the only above the top $ 10,000, while the only one on the top $ 10,000, while the only one on the top $ 10,000, while the only one on the top $ 10,000, while the only one on the top $ 10,000, while the only above the above $ 10,000, while the only above $ 10,000, was the only one on the top $ 10,000 of $ 200. Technical analysis

Technical Review for March 31, 2025
  • XRP, one of the better performance of major altcoins, is again close to a critical support zone between $ 1.95 and $ 2.05.
  • This region continues to act as a powerful demand area, with consumers stepping several times over the past four months.
  • Increasing its importance, the zone is aligned with the 2021 all-time high and is now further supported by the daily 200 exponential transition of the average, which is gradually converting to this level.
  • Acceptance below this basic level is likely to result in a greater expansion on the downside, given the loss of a basic level that is reliable held as support for months.
