Mass Adoption of Web3 by self-writing Internet

Today, hundreds of millions of people owned Bitcoin and other tokens that have been posted on blockchains worth trillion dollars.

In particular, however, blockchains have pledged more than tokens. In fact, blockchains are our future tech stack, and they can host sophisticated web apps, which live completely onchain, such as tokens. These apps are fully implemented from the network resident code (ie smart contract software and its evolutions).

This has a huge potential: by the end of 2025, more than 5 billion people will own smartphones connected to the Internet with web browsers. So what can drive them to create and use full web apps, which can sport seamless web3 function?

I believe that a new blockchain revolution is close, thanks to the advance of AI technology and “self-wringing app”.

It is associated with an important emerging trend called “vibe coding.” Vibe coding involves software engineers using Ai with Internal tools that can write and adjust the software code on their behalf, making it more productive.

Self-writing paradigm takes more, by enabling users who do not technically create, own and update apps simply by teaching AI in chat. For the reasons I will explain, the blockchain is in a unique position to help bring this revolutionary function to the world.

In the future, an individual may create a personal bond website, or something like a custom wedding plan for a family member to get married, simply by talking to AI. A businessman with no technical or currency staff can create a new type of e-commerce website, or develop an app economy sharing with web3 metals. And, a business can create a sophisticated CRM operating, for a small portion of investment in the time and money currently required. All just by talking, without the need for software engineering skills or system administration systems.

In this new paradigm of development, sun -day users will release AI instructions on chat, and just refresh their moments in the web browser later to interact with their new or updated app.

Apps living in blockchains have a number of important features. They are sovereignty and resistant to censorship, because they live on a public network, they are immovable, which means they are safe without dependent on cybersecurity, incredibly resilient, and may seamlessly combine strong web3 functionality because they live in the chain.

In addition, blockchain technology solves the major problems involved in the presence of AI that develops solo in traditional IT.

For example, the code running this traditional should be well written to prevent the introduction of security holes, and the whole platform is sensitive to security adjustments, from cloud accounts, to operating systems running on cloud -like clouds such as Linux, to platform software such as databases and web servers. This means that traditional IT infrastructure should be often protected by cybersecurity systems such as firewalls and anti-malware. FoiloverAnd backing and restoring, is another concern, and service providers should be trusted.

Trusting AI to build solo in this traditional is a stretch, as even a mistake can lead to a cyberattack resulting in data export, or ransomware data data.

Blockchains for AI make it easy to build solo in many different ways. For example, the host of the network-resident code blockchain is “no server,” greatly simplifies the coding tasks that AI should do, allowing the code to produce faster. In Internet computer Network, the code can also deliver safe interactive web experiences directly by the finishing users, and can store and process massive data values well, and even use to produce things like a full social network (e.g. OCP) or an important business application.

At DFinity, we are great believers in self-writing apps that run on public blockchains, which we call “self-writing Internet,” and have developed supporting technologies for a few years.

To reach self-writing apps to their maximum potential, it should be not only for users who create them by talking, but also to continue updating and improving them in the work, so they can talk until they have what they need, or a design that is best. Unless users can continue to update labor-running apps, the total market discussed by self-writing paradise will only reach a small portion of its massive potential.

DFINITY generates a programming language framework called Motoko for AI use, as well as people. When a user updates an app by adding or changing operations, AI should also describe how to update the data structure within the app, so that nothing is gone. When AI tries to install an update, the plot will be able to see if a mistake has been made that will cause even a small amount of data to be lost accidentally, so that it can ask AI to try again.

We believe that the self-writing Internet will democratize and decentralized the tech on the blockchain, and it is excited that a new platform called caffeine.ai is about to be released. Just by contacting caffeine in chat, users will create, own and update the Sovereign apps on the Internet computer, and the computer in the world is broader, which for us is the integration of all blockchains that can dost tokens and smart contract software.

In the future, it is possible to say that “build me a personal photos on Google, which I can share with my family and friends, where we can add emoji comments and reactions to photos,” or “build me a remittance system so I can pay my international contractors using stablecoins.”

In blockchains, human imagination, rather than technical skills, will be especially limit when creating web apps. Locked utility will bring massive blockchain adoption-though, often, users may not know that the blockchain is behind their game change experiences.

I have long talked about a “blockchain singularity” taking place where decentralized networks have become a major new tech stack. I think this is how we get there, and the future is almost here.
