Metaplanet now holds 5,000 BTC, achieved 121.1% BTC yield



Metaplanet (3350) reached a major milestone in the Bitcoin (BTC) approach, the Japanese hotel company holds 5,000 BTC as part of its treasury operation.

Its BTC stash costs about $ 428.1 million at an average cost of getting about $ 85,621 per coin.

The firm listed in Tokyo continues to double down on Bitcoin as a reserve of property, with the latest purchase of 145 BTC made at an average price of approximately $ 93,327 per coin, covering nearly $ 13.6 million.

The accumulation approach has achieved a year-to-date (YTD) BTC yield of 121.1% in 2025. The metric of this harvest reflects the company’s effective increase in Bitcoin per part held.

Noteworthy, BTC’s yield is a KPI metaplanet’s owner used to monitor Treasury performance. It separated the acquisitions driven by Bitcoin acquisition techniques while neutralizing the dilution from the newly issued shares. In Q1 2025 only, the company saw a 95.6%harvest.
