The growing rift between Tesla CEO Elon Musk and US president Donald Trump became a gulf on July 5 when Musk announced the Independent America Party, which should focus on the policies of Bitcoin and Centrist.

Politics is bad for Musk’s business, and he’s not good at politics
Tesla owners in the Silicon Valley may be excited about the anticipation of a third party led by Musk, but CEO business partners are not.
