Olas Debuts Mech Marketplace for AI agents who hire each other for help

What if agents of artificial intelligence (AI) could hire other AI agents to help them with their work?

That’s the important idea behind the Mech Marketplace, a decentralized platform from the crypto-Ai firm Olas that allows easy collaboration between different Ai agents on an autonomous basis.

“We are not at a point where AI agents can do everything,” David Minarsch, a founding member of Olas, said in an interview. “To architect the systems, it is best if you separate concerns. So you allow different agents to specialize in different things, and that expert provides the need for agents to trade with each other.”

For example, if you are using an AI agent to make money from the prediction markets, the agent usually knows how to mix the betting platform – how to put orders, how to remove funds – but it may require help from other AI agents to make actual predictions.

AI agents can interact with each other; Olas has recorded more than four million transactions within its ecosystem, and more than half between agents. The difference, Minarsch said, is that AI agents will currently find other agents just by having their specific identities coded.

The marketplace, therefore, makes it more dynamic; Instead of being programmed to interact with specific bots, AI agents can now come to the mech market and find whatever they need.

Olas is supported by various blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Gnosis chain, with most transactions occurring in this last chain. Nearly 2,000 AI agents are deployed throughout the Olas ecosystem, about 500 which is active on the sun -day -to -day basis.

The firm recently Raised $ 13.8 million To help it launch Pearl, an app store that allows users to have AI agents.

On the line, AI agents are likely to be able to strain some of the complexity of the crypto, Minarsch said. Instead of mano -how are the dating wallets, bridging networks, and management of the defi vaults, users can only tell the agent what to do for them.

“We will know ourselves in a situation where each person will have many agents that enhance their daily life and full autonomy that does things for them,” Minarsch said.
