Ondo to get regulated broker for tokenized stock launch

It said it said that to buy the Oasis Pro, a regulated broker platform, which puts the basis for rotating tokenized stocks in the coming months.
Acquisition, whose price is not disclosed, will give the Ondo a bundle of US security licenses: a broker-dealer, alternative trading system (ATS) and transfer agent controlled by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, said a company statement.
Tokenization companies are increasingly seeking regulated entities to enter the US market as an interest in blockchain -based securities. The tokenization aims to bring traditional financial instruments such as bonds, stock and on-chain funds, which promise faster and 24/7 repairs, greater investor access and programmed transactions. The Oasis Pro, founded in 2019 by, was one of the first US companies to be allowed to improve digital security in both Fiat and Stablecoins such as the USDC and DAI. It also contributed to shaping regulatory policy through Finra’s Crypto Working Group.
The Ondo, which manages more than $ 1.4 billion in tokenized assets, said it plans to launch tokenized stocks for non-US investors through the Global Markets platform in the coming months. Replace with that Robinhood, Gemini, Krakenand Bybit Similar offerings have been introduced recently.
