US president Donald Trump will take a crypto summit on March 7, the White House announced.
The White House Crypto and Ai Czar David Sacks and Bo Hines, the executive director of a working group in digital assets, will run the meeting, even though Trump will speak at the summit, the late Friday statement said.
“Attendees will include prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry, as well as members of the president’s working group in digital assets,” the release said.
The Summit will only come a month after the sacks, with the leaders of Congress, gave his first public comment as Trump’s crypto.
“We want to maintain that innovation in the US,” he said at the February 4 conference. “Financial ownership is dedicated to being digital, as every analog industry has become digital, and we want to make value to the United States, rather than giving it to other countries.”
The White House did not name the other summit attendees.
