Launched the Moca chain supported by Animoca for decentralized identity solutions
Blockchain Development Firm Moca Foundation announced the launch of the Moca Chain, a new layer-1 blockchain dedicated to privacy identity-maintaining data identity and validation.
The Moca Chain is a layer-1 blockchain purpose developed for the identity and applications of user data management, the Moca Foundation announced Wednesday.
The network aims to support the development of identity protocols that allow individuals, devices and artificial intelligence agents to control and verify their credentials without relying on centralized service providers.
Testnet is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2025, including the Mainnet deployment for the fourth quarter, the foundation said.
The Moca Chain will enable the verification of the onchain and offchain user data through applications on any chain, the claim of the foundation. The system will use the moca token for transaction fees, validator staking, storage, oracle services, data generation and validation fees.
The Moca Foundation did not respond to Cointelegraph’s request for comment by time of publication.

What’s under the hood?
This will use ecosystem decentralized data, crosscare of crosschain identity and generation of proof data by web Zero-Knowledge Transport Layer Security (ZK-Tls) and onchain validation. The blockchain is also compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which facilitates the interoperability with Ethereum and its sisters.
Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of the Crypto Venture Capital Firm and the Moca Foundation launches partner Animoca Brands, said that billions of users use single sign-on (SSO) to log in to services. SSO allows users to access many applications and services with a single set of logging credentials.
SIU explained that SSO implementations serve as keys to a user’s data, service, service and digital life. However, he said that “the SSO represents a centralized point of frustration that compromised security.” He added:
“The Moca Chain aims to solve this problem by providing users of decentralized genuinely ownership of their data, ensuring the sovereignty of users’ digital identity without a point of failure.”

Reached the launch
The Moca Network Management Software Development Development Kit, Air Kit, has already been included in the offerings of various partners, including portfolio companies of the Animoca Brands, partners and affiliates. This has been reported resulting in over 700 million appropriate users.
Data from air kit-integrated systems are available in protocols and applications built on the Moca chain.
