Solana (Sol) News: SSK opens for trade

Rex Shares and Osprey Funds were selected by anchorage digital as exclusive custodian and staking partner for their newly launched Rex-OSPREY Solana + Staking ETF (SSK)the first Crypto Staking Exchange-traded fund (ETF) listed in the US
The fund, which offers exposure of investors to Solana
While forming staking rewards, Wednesday began trading on Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday for $ 25.47 per part.
Unlike the existing area Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF, which falls under different frameworks of regulation, the SSK is registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940. This means a qualified career – not the funding fund – is required to handle the underlying ownership. The anchorage digital, which currently has a single federal regulated bank authorized to both care and stake digital assets, will fill that paper.
“Staking is the next chapter in the Crypto ETF story,” said Nathan McCauley, CEO and anchorage digital co-founder, on a release. “Launching Crypto Staking ETFs marks a win for consumers and a significant step forward in full access to the crypto ecosystem.”
The ETF provides investors with indirect exposure to Solana while also participating in the blockchain staking mechanism, which provides additional yield by helping to secure the network. Staking allows holders of some cryptocurrencies to earn rewards by locking their network tokens, a process previously required with technical knowledge and direct contact with crypto protocols.
By packing staking in an ETF structure, Rex and Osprey’s sharing aims to make the process that can be accessible to a wider range of investors through traditional broker accounts.
SOL is 2% higher in the past 24 hours up to $ 150.
SSK launching has arrived as the Crypto ETF market continues to change despite Bitcoin and Ether, along with those who provide exploration of new ways to bring blockchain -based products to regulated exchanges. The introduction of Staking ETFs marks a new phase for the industry, combining the features that generate revenue with exposure to digital assets, all within a vehicle regulated by SEC.
