Solana Labs mobile team Shared Wednesday It plans to send the phone looking for it starting August 4, in addition to sharing new information about some of its infrastructure framework as well as a new token for its mobile users.
The news came up as Solana’s new mobile repetition was in works for months, with over 150,000 units to this day, according to In a press release. Looking was introduced to September 2024 after the first model of Solana Mobile, Saga, failedin part due to low sales numbers.
The Solana Mobile Team also said that in addition to the phone coming up, it launches the SKR token that will be integral to Solana’s mobile ecosystem. “The SKR is economic power, incentive, and owner of the entire ecosystem, while the alignment of users, developers, and hardware manufacturers towards the growth of the Web3 Mobile Ecosystem,” the team wrote in a press release.
At the network architecture core is Teepin, the trusted network of the implementation infrastructure platform, a decentralized framework consisting of three layers that will allow users, devices, and developers to interact with a safe and distrustful environment.
“Teepin represents the next evolution to the mobile-a framework where trust is not provided by a central authority but has been proven by cryptography,” said Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder and CEO of Solana Labs, in the press release.
