The Ethereum Foundation has removed some members of the research team and development as part of a broader reinteristry effort aimed at re -focusing critical challenges in protocol design, the organization said In a blog post Monday.

“The changes we have announced today are a removal from our past ways of working, but we feel that it has set us on a more responsive and effective path,” said the foundation in its post.
The EF does not disclose how many staff are affected by the disappearances. “(S) OME members of the PR&D will not continue with the Ethereum Foundation,” the blog said. “We hope that these individuals will continue with the Ethereum ecosystem and encourage others to build their teams to find them.”
A speaker for the foundation did not respond to a request for comment.
