Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent prompted Galaxy Digital Counsel to advise Crypto

US Secretary of Treasury Scott Bescent named Galaxy Digital Regulatory Counsel Tyler Williams to advise digital assets and blockchain technology policy.
Williams currently serves as the head of regulation and legislative activities and advice on the Galaxy Digital regulation and also talks part-time at George Washington University Law School.
He had previously cooperated with the government, the latest Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Treasury Department under Steven Mnuchin from 2018 to 2020 where he advised digital ownership. He also worked under Senator Thom Tillis in the US Senate and under congressmen Robert Hurt and John Boehner in the House of Representative.
President Donald Trump Signed an Executive Order Earlier this month to charge the Treasury and Commerce departments with the creation of a wealth fund he hoped he created before the end of this year.
While Bitcoin (BTC) is not mentioned in relation to the fund, it can be a vehicle where the government can buy and handle crypto.
Trump had already suggested that the federal government holds digital currencies as part of the national reserve strategy. However, at an executive order, he would only charge his crypto advisors in the review of the creation of a digital asset reserve.
