Ubisoft Taps Can’t Change To Launch Web3 Card Game ‘May & Magic: Fate’

The giant Ubisoft has cooperated with the web3 firm that is unchanged to launch Might & Magic: Fates, a blockchain -enabled card game set in the Might & Magic Universe.
According to a release of news shared with Cointelegraph, Might & Magic: The Fates mixed the classic strategic gameplay along with Modern Blockchain technology.
The game will be launched on iOS and Android. The title introduces fresh mechanics, group -based techniques and a wide range of legendary heroes and creatures.
Players can collect, trade, and customize decks using hundreds of cards, making unique techniques in a competitive environment where success is driven by skill and tactical decision-making.
“The game is free-to-play with no difficult development barriers. Players move forward by collecting cards and in-game currencies via gameplay,” Justin Hulo, Chief Studio Officer for the Unchanged, told Cointelegraph.
“In addition, those seeking to speed up their development or obtain specific cards can do this through markets,” Tulog said.
He added that players will have the ability to exchange digital collected cards that they own using dedicated platforms.

Cannot be changed to provide blockchain backbone
Unchanged, a leading web3 gaming platform, will provide a blockchain backbone for the project.
The firm is known for the titles Title -Host Godly gods and Guild of GuardiansBoth are designed to give players actually own in-game assets through blockchain technology.
Gods unchained is a free-to-play NFT trading card game where players collect, trade, and fight with unique, player-owned cards. It runs with a gas-free layer-2 solution that is immutable and moves to the invisible ZKEVM for enhanced functionality.
The Guild of Guardians is a Mobile RPG in which players gather NFT -based teams to fight with dungeon attacks.
Ubisoft is among some video game publishers that include crypto elements in their games.

In October 2024, the firm announced the release of its first game Web3 technology integration. Dubbed champions tactics: Grimoria, the game was deployed in the oasys layer-2 home verse, an ecosystem powered by the blockchain for web3 playing.
