BoeSe Stuttgart launched the seturion for tokenized asset settlement in Europe

The Boerse Stuttgart Group, Europe’s sixth largest exchange operator, launched a blockchain-based platform designed to handle cross-border transactions of tokenized assets across the region.

According to a Thursday announcement, the platform targets Banks, brokers, trading areas and tokenization platforms. The system supports both public and private blockchains, with settlement possible with central bank money or on-chain cash.

The platform, called Seturion, has been tested by local banks as part of blockchain tests conducted with the European Central Bank (ECB).

The team said its own exchange would be connected first, along with a solution that lives in BX Digital, the regulated trading area of Boese Stuttgart in Switzerland. Other market participants will be subject to administration approved.
