US president Donald Trump released a 90-day pause in reward tariffs

US stock markets have grown stronger following President Donald Trump’s announcement of a 90-day pause on tariffs for some countries.

U.S. president Donald Trump released a 90-day pause for “reward tariffs,” and lowered the tariff rate to 10% in countries that did not retaliate against anti-parks.
However, the President also said he would increase the tariff rate of the tariff in China to 125% due to the country’s anti-tariffs against the US. Trump wrote on a social April 9 Post:
“At some point, hopefully, in the near future, China realizes that the days of avoidance in the USA and other countries are no longer sustainable or acceptable.”
According to data from tradingview, the index of the S&P 500 rallied by close to 7% and the NASDAQ was approximately 8% following the announcement, showing high volatility of capital markets amid macroeconomic uncertainty and the potential for a Protracted trade conflict.
